This menu goes from Monday to Friday, on Saturday usually we finish the rest of food from week to noon and usually go out in the evening. So no kitchen!
On Sundays, I used to cook a traditional meal. This Sunday I did the ndole , so don't be surprised when you go see this dish in the menu of the week 😉.
The Ndolè is a very popular Cameroonian dish . It is cooked with peanuts and Ndolè leaves. The recipe is not yet on the blog, but I planned to post the recipe in the coming weeks 🙈
While my ndole was simmering in fire, I took the opportunity to start my preparations of the week. I cut all my vegetables that I then kept in small freezing bags to use the next day . I no longer had to make my green seasoning, since I did it last week, which made me save time 😉.
Let's prepare the menus of the week together, we will do three dishes in 40 minutes!
In this menu of the week we will have:
Batch menu: 3 dishes in 40 minutes
- Sautéed bean
- Nigerian Chicken Fried Rice | chicken fried rice
- Curry sautéed vegetable
Preparation to do the day before
- Boil the beans : you have to soak beforehand in hot water for some time so that the seeds soften before cooking
- Cook your rice with curcum A: It's very important to have cold rice to succeed in your Fried Rice
- Cut all your vegetables : carrots, peppers, onions, zucchini, mushrooms. In short, cut all the vegetables that you plan to cook with
- Make a green seasoning. For this week I didn't have to do it that in the last batch, I had done enough for 2 weeks. condiments can be kept well for 1 week in the fridge
- Clean and cut the chicken then marinate.
We launch the preparations the next day (Monday)
It is today that we are going to do the Batch Cooking . So I'm going to cook sautéed beans, Fried Rice and sautéed vegetables at curry at the same time.
Ingredients :
- Vegetables (tomatoes, onion, green and red pepper, carrot, broccoli, green bean)
- Green seasoning
- chicken
- Turmeric rice
- corn, pea
- curry
- mushrooms
Start by boiling the chicken for a few minutes and then fry. Reserve the chicken juice and keep a good part of it to make Fried Rice. I did this task on Monday noon , because I wanted to add a little fried chicken in my Caesar salad! 🙂
The evening..
I start cooking 3 meals at the same time
Fried Rice with chicken

- Cold cooked rice.
- Ginger and crushed garlic
- marinade
- 100 - 150 ml of chicken juice
- Green, red, yellow peppers
- onion
- Optional black bean
- Optional sweet corn
- optional pea
For my Fried Rice I already had my rice in turmeric, chicken juice and fried chicken . I only had to mix everything with the vegetables. Which took me about 15 minutes
2. Sautéed beans

- Then add the green, garlic and ginger seasoning
- Add the cooked beans, with a little fish water
- Simmer for a few minutes;
- At the end add the shrimp and salt then pepper and it's ready!
The recipe E St Super easy to make . This recipe here: Cameroonian sautéed bean is not yet on the blog , but I have another version of the recipe: Sautéed Congolese bean on my YouTube channel!
The recipe is a little different, in Congo we jump the beans with its cooking water and add the oil and the nutmeg during the cooking beans, in short go checker! Or do the Cameroonian version! The 2 recipes are delicious 😊
3. Vegetables sautéed in curry
Ingredients:
- Broccoli
- green bean
- carrots
- zucchini
- mushrooms
- onions, pepper
- curry
- chicken juice
- green seasoning
- tomatoes
The recipe I am still testing it, suddenly I cannot yet give you the exact recipe, but the principle is super simple: jump the vegetables together in the chicken juice flavored with curry!
I first started by cooking green beans and steam broccoli together, before starting cooking, but it was not a good idea because the broccoli had cooked too much and it was not visible in the sauce. So soon I have to do differently ... In short after the test phase, I will share this delicious little recipe for you 🙂
The 3 meals are cooked. All you have to do is clean the kitchen . As my vegetables were in freezing bags, I had less dishes to do 😂
What you have to do on weekdays
Monday morning
A small caesar salad 😋
Tuesday
Additional vegetables saved with curry and ndole:
- You can do the plantain or steamed apples! or buy cassava batonss for evening ndole
Wednesday
Complete the bean!

THURSDAY
Complete the bean (still 😀):
- You can fry the plantain, or even boil the cassava .Bef, it's up to you!
Friday
Midi: Lost bread.
For those who do not know, it's a very easy breakfast to do in 15 minutes at the Grand Max.
Ingredient:
- bun
- omelette
- ham
- milk
- cheese
Recipe :
You make a small omelet to which you add a little milk, then you load your brioches with the ham and the cheese. At the end you wrap everything in the omelet then you fried in a buttered pan! It's super good!
The evening…
It's my grilled day 🤗. I made fried fish sautéed in vegetables!
