Instructions
Peel the yam and cut the 2 extremites to throw away
Cut your yam into a stick.
Wash it carefully and remove all dirt.
Then add the lummage pieces in a saucepan and pour enough water to cover the yam. Add a pinch of salt, turmeric and cook for 7 to 10 minutes.
Once the yam is cooked. Drain
Once the yam is cooked, drain the water and fry the yam in vegetable oil for 5 to 7 minutes or until the yam is golden yellow.
Place yam fries on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
