Jollof or Jollof Rice rice in English is undoubtedly the most popular dish in West Africa. It is a very appreciated festive dish that we often serve during weddings, parties and other large gatherings

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of rice
  • 1 liter of water including chicken juice to cook the rice
  • 4 tumor
  • 5 concentrated tablespoon
  • 1 or 2 pepper
  • 3 red pepper
  • bay leaves
  • 3 onions to crush
  • 1 Big onion to cut for the sauce
  • 1 onion to cut to cook the chicken
  • 1 tsp. curry
  • 1 tsp. coffee thyme
  • a little ginger
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • some branches of parsley
  • 1 kg of chicken here I used the thighs

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the chicken

  • Make a small marinade: crush onions, parsley, garlic, ginger, chili
  • Boil the chicken with the small marinade of Step 1. Add the cut onion, salt and pepper. Cover the chicken with water
  • After 15 minutes, drain the chicken and keep the juice
  • Heat a little oil in the pan and fry the chicken

Step 2: Make the tomato sauce
