Coconut fritters

The coconut fritters are crunchy outside and have a cake taste inside. They are perfect as snacks or ideal as a appetizer for short holidays, or just if you receive friends at home, because they are ready in just about 30 minutes!

If you have followed me recently, you then know that I repress everything that is donuts or simply frying dough ... and I simply love the taste and the smell of coconut. I think that after vanilla, it is my 2nd favorite perfume for pastries. I let you imagine in how long, I finished my donuts 🙂

For coconut fritters, you need the following ingredients:

1. All use or ordinary flour. 
2. Sugar. For sweetness.
3. Yeast. To help the paw to lift.
4. SEL. To balance the sweetness.
5. Coconut milk, obviously
6. The grated coconut, to add a little crunch
7. Egg. For wealth and to maintain the dough together.

Cooking time 20 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 125 ml of coconut milk
  • 250 g of flour
  • 1/2 TSP of baking powder
  • 70 g of sugar
  • 100 g grated coconut
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 TSP SEL
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1 frying oil
  • 1/2 TSP of optional nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Put the oil over medium heat to heat in a hollow background pot.
  • In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients, including sugar, yeast, salt and flour, nutmeg and coconut
  • Add the butter, and mix well.
  • Add the egg, then the milk and mix to obtain a dough. If the dough is too thick, add water in small increments until the dough is a consistency that can be dosed
  • Test the oil by dropping a tablespoon full of dough in the oil. If it sizzles, the oil is hot enough.
  • Put a tablespoon of dough in the oil. Let the donuts fry for about 5 minutes until it is completely cooked.
  • Remove the donuts from the oil with a hole spoon and place them on absorbent paper to absorb excess oil.
  • It is best to eat hot donuts.
