How to make good baobab juice
The Baobab juice recipe is super easy . You should first know that the baobab is either sold in powder, or directly in pulp, therefore in fruit. So there are two main ways to make your juice . And don't worry I will share the 2 recipes in this post.
Baobab powder juice
Having tested the 2 ways: baobab juice with baobab powder, and baobab juice with the pulp , I would say that it is much easier to make your drink with baobab powder .
You just have to dilute it all gradually in water and then add the sugar to balance the taste, because the baobab is a fairly acidic fruit anyway!.
You yourself see that the recipe is super easy, right?
Baobab juice with the pulp
Here, it will first be necessary to pour the pulp of Baobab into boiling water. Then , stir continuously with a whisk , so that the flesh of the fruit can completely detach. At the end you only have to add sugar too to rebalance the taste and wait for it to cool before drinking!
I find that this method really takes more time, and in addition I needed 2 times more pulp than with the powder . Because with the same amount of water that I used in the first method, I obtained a really more liquid juice, and I had to increase the amount of baobab to have the texture I wanted.
How to make Baobab juice in milk
Well, it's not a method in such a such, it's just that some people also like Baobab juice to milk 🙂
It's really also very easy. After making the juice, you just have to add either a little focused milk in your drink or completely dilute half of your glass juice with a mixture of powdered milk + water . In this case, do not forget to review the amount of sugar down 😉
Baobab juice my recipe
Here I will present a recipe that is still as easy but a little revisited. I wanted to add mint leaves, simply because I love the refreshing taste that mint brings to the drink and instead of sugar, I used rather honey 🙂 .
So that the mint leaves can be infused very slowly , I therefore heated my mixture of baobab+water powder and I let stand for about 2 to 3 hours before filtering and putting in the fridge, just for the perfume and the benefits of the fresh mint can really free themselves.
The complete recipe with all the details is at the bottom of the article!
How to consume the baobab: other ways!
What I usually do when I really don't have time to do my baobab juice and sprinkle the powder a little in everything.
- When I take a yogurt in the morning, hop I add a tablespoon of baobab powder.
- When I do my smoothies, I also add the baobab powder.
- Once even by doing pancakes , I also added. And it was also really delicious
So here is some additional way and also super easy to consume it, so you really have no excuse not to integrate it into your daily diet!
